Eventscape has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Programmer to join our digital fabrication team. As the CNC programmer, you will collaborate with fabrication teams to produce efficient and constructible millwork features, including cabinetry, bespoke furniture units, feature walls, custom jigs, and fixtures.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- ensure precise programming and seamless processing of millwork-related projects
- determine and plan the sequence of operations
- develop, create, and manage accurate CNC cut-files
- act as a liaison between in-house designers and the wood shop
- set up, operate, and maintain a variety of CNC equipment to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations
- ensure fabrication is done to a high-quality standard and according to schedule
- continuously collaborate with other fabrication departments
- conduct regular quality checks of finished products
ABOUT YOU
- You have practical, hands-on millwork knowledge
- You've worked in a field such as cabinetmaking, machining, architecture or interior architecture, or industrial design
- You have 2-3 years of recent CNC experience with a millwork focus
- You have experience programming for plastics, composites (e.g. ACM), millwork sheet goods, and solid wood
- You are fully competent in 3 Axis programming (and bonus if you are also familiar with 5 axis programming!)
- You have a sound understanding of analogue millwork processes, joinery, and materials
