Who You Will Work With:
The vacant CMDB Lead will report directly into the Leader, BISO & IT Compliance Management. The CMDB/Asset Management, Lead will have responsibilities in building and executing CMDB Strategy for Interac’s enterprise, through the compliance to processes, procedures, and policies, aligned with ServiceNow CSDM framework, ITIL framework and ISO/IEC compliance standards. This role will administer, manage and carry out all aspects of the CMDB process ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Interac’s CMDB/CSDM as it relates to hardware and software IT assets.
What You Will Do:
Define CMDB scope and objectives aligning with value driven Interac Products & Services
Design and implement the CMDB Structure and Processes
Manage the CMDB Operations including recording/maintaining configuration items (CIs) within scope, CMDB/CSDM lifecycle, including CI relationship mappings
Provide training and continuous support to CMDB users
Ensure the Integrity of and 360-degree coverage of Interac’s CMDB/CSDM
Perform configuration audits, remediation and assist the various IT Service Management (ITSM) Process Manager with audits and report generation
Promote CMDB as a single source of truth for ITSM Processes and IT Operations
Provide direction to the CMDB team for all aspects of CMDB Operations
Provide Technical leadership in building ServiceNow based solution for discovering, managing CIs including building Service maps
Develop clear and concise documentation regarding the Discovery Process and Schedules updating as needed.
Be an active stakeholder in Interac’s adjacent ITIL practices; Incident, Problem, Change, Documentation, BISO
Be an active stakeholder in Interac’s vendor, risk, and vulnerability management practices
What You bring:
10+ years experience in Information Technology including building and managing discovery and service mapping solution on ServiceNow platform
ServiceNow certification- CSA, CIS, Discovery fundamental would be an asset
ITIL 4 certification an asset.
Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Master's Degree in Technical, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or Computer Engineering would be an asset.
Experience with Asset and Configuration Management processes, procedures and Service Management processes.
Hands on experience with Asset / CMDB tools
Experience identifying, investigating, and resolving Discovery issues with working knowledge of Cloud or on-prem infrastructure i.e. AWS, Azure, VMware, UNIX, Windows, and various network infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network protocols, IP networks, subnetting, network devices, and virtualization environments configurations, i.e., Hyper-V, VMware.
In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow reconciliation process and identifying the frameworks related to ServiceNow mapping.
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow discovery patterns and scripts, especially PowerShell and JavaScript.
In Depth knowledge of ServiceNow Common Services Data Model.
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

The hiring range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
