Cloud Services Operations Manager to oversee the operations and business aspects of our Cloud Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, cloud technologies, and operational efficiency. This role is essential in driving the success and growth of our cloud engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies to enhance the performance and delivery of the broader Cloud Engineering team.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for cloud CIO projects, identifying any efficiency and optimization.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of the team and initiative programs to improve efficiencies and improvements.
  • Resource Reporting: Report on resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency. Including the monthly and quarterly reporting for 3rd party vendors.
  • Goal Tracking: Establish mechanism to monitor goals for the cloud engineering team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • CIO Adoption Scorecards: Develop and maintain CIO adoption scorecards to track the adoption of the Cloud Platform and the maturity of the developer teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather required information and ensure that outcomes are met.
  • Roadmap Management: Manage and oversee the reporting of the Cloud Roadmaps holistically.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on cloud engineering activities, performance, and business impact.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business management, with a focus on technology or cloud services.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), cloud engineering principles and product management.
  • Microsoft Office Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, for effective data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence: Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking, collaboration, and documentation.

Salary:

$74,800.00 - $138,600.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
