Endurance IT Services is hiring a Cloud Consultant in Canada! This role is a key driver of enterprise platform strategy, shaping how platform capabilities are architected, standardized, and scaled across datacenter, private cloud, and public cloud environments. You’ll influence long‑term architecture decisions while partnering closely with engineering and platform teams to deliver efficient, secure, and cost‑optimized platforms. ***This role is onsite and will be local to one of the following office locations: Richmond Hill, Mississauga or Kitchener***


What You’ll Do

  • Design and govern landing zone architectures across on‑prem, private, and public cloud to drive standardization and scalability
  • Develop consolidation and automation strategies to reduce architectural complexity and operational overhead
  • Establish reference architectures, design patterns, and infrastructure‑as‑code standards
  • Apply Well‑Architected Framework principles and lead architecture reviews across teams
  • Provide architectural guidance for core platform components (networking, storage, CI/CD)
  • Drive cost optimization through platform consolidation and automation initiatives
  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure platform effectiveness, reliability, and adoption
  • Simplify enterprise platforms by reducing landing zone variations and increasing automation coverage
  • Improve operational efficiency, cost optimization, and technical excellence across the organization


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of enterprise platform or cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and enterprise landing zone design
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross‑functional platform initiatives
  • Kubernetes and container platforms (e.g., GKE, Anthos)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent)
  • Strong background in microservices, CI/CD, networking, and security frameworks
  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy enterprise architectures
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to define and execute long‑term architecture roadmaps
  • Strong communicator able to influence stakeholders across engineering and leadership
  • Track record of driving enterprise‑wide architectural standards and change
