In this position, you will be working within a dynamic team of project engineers on deployments of Live Media applications to various cloud services and architectures. You'll understand each customer's requirements and constraints and aid in constructing their solution via IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Your work will mainly involve developing solutions for the deployment of our applications, use-cases, and systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with project team on deployments of Evertz systems to the cloud
  • Understanding customer requirements and building out solutions via "Infrastructure as Code"
  • Interfacing with customers on the solution requirements and deployment
  • Create API driven system deployments
  • Supporting internal teams with building out environments for test and validation of customer solutions
  • Building and maintaining system dashboards
  • Aiding in the design and integration of cloud services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, iterative development of industry-leading products and technology.
  • Able to learn quickly, work independently and have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Other duties as required. 
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of at least one Cloud provider: AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Knowledge and understanding of Coud-based redundancy and network architecture: load-balancing, AZs, auto-scaling
  • General "infrastructure as code" tooling:  Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Puppet
  • Cloud platform specific "infrastructure as code" tooling: Cloud Formation Template, ARM
  • Knowledge of system observability, e.g. AWS, CloudWatch
  • Deploying and maintaining container-based solutions: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Linux based systems
  • Scripting languages: Python, Bash
  • Education in Electronics/Electrical/Computing/Software/Broadcasting or related field
  • Cloud Platform certification would be an asset: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, GCP Cloud Engineer

Location: Burlington, Ontario 
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours.
Vacancy: This is an existing position. 
Salary Range: $60K CAD - $80K CAD, based on experience.
