Job Description
We are looking for a Jr Cloud Application Engineer with proven expertise in building cloud-native solutions, modernizing legacy applications, and applying DevOps best practices. This role involves architecting, developing, deploying, and transforming enterprise applications across Azure and GCP environments, with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modernize cloud-native applications on Azure and GCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application modernization strategies
- Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and TypeScript
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Work with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and policy-as-code frameworks such as OPA/Rego and Sentinel
- Integrate observability, logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, and SLO/SLI frameworks
- Ensure cloud security, governance, and compliance automation
- Support cloud migration initiatives including 6Rs modernization strategies
- Participate in Agile and SAFe delivery processes
