The Cloud and DevOps Developer will provide cloud infrastructure builds, implement DevOps best practices, and participate in Agile project delivery.
As Cloud and DevOps Developer, you will provide hands-on expertise and guidance as it relates to DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure builds and configuration, and all aspects of platform engineering. This opportunity involves collaboration with many stakeholders and will allow you to utilize your unique blend of technical and interpersonal experiences.
As a member of the DevOps and Cloud Practice at Intelliware, you will collaborate with individuals with extensive experience in the DevOps and Cloud space, sharing your unique experiences with a diverse group of like-minded individuals working on different and unique projects in the Cloud and DevOps space. The practice strives to produce reusable patterns and code to accelerate our initiatives, and you will have the opportunity to shape how we approach similar projects in the future.

While working with teams in an Agile environment, you will:
- Consult internal teams and clients on DevOps “best practices” using our depth of experience to avoid common pitfalls/issues
- Implement modern DevOps tooling
- Design cloud solutions across various industries for new and exciting implementations
- Provision and configure cloud infrastructure utilizing different infrastructure as code frameworks
- Plan and execute cloud migrations either from on-prem infrastructure or other cloud providers
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members on software features, design, and implementation
- Participate in the end-to-end delivery of DevOps and cloud consulting projects, ensuring completion on time, on budget, and meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Investigate, learn, and apply innovative technologies and processes
- Clarify requirements with team and client representatives
'Must Have' Skills/Experience
- In-depth knowledge of core DevOps principles
- Infrastructure design and implementation experience with either Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience implementing and automating pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar CICD frameworks
- Familiarity with Containers / Container Orchestration
- Experience in at least one “scripting” language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Familiarity with popular build tools (npm, Maven, Gradle, etc.)
- Growth mindset and desire to learn
- Experience with at least one configuration management framework (Helm, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Software Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent education/experience)
'Nice to Have' Skills/Experience
- Kubernetes experience
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, OpenTofu, AWS SDK, ARM/Bicep, Pulumi)
- Proficiency in Python or Go
- Experience in end-to-end pipelines as code including all aspects of security, testing, and observability
- Software development or operations background
- Financial Services industry experience
- Sales, pre-sales, or consulting experience
- Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches
