This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst to support a large-scale Clinical Information Solution (CIS) implementation and clinical standardization program within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will specialize in Clinical Documentation and will work closely with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, regulated healthcare professionals, clinical subject matter experts, project teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze current-state processes, design future-state workflows, and support the development and implementation of standardized clinical documentation practices.



Requirements
  • University Degree in either Healthcare, Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst (or equivalent) responsible for Clinical documentation related requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation obtained in the last 10 years.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst/Clinical Informatics Analyst in a large-scale acute care digital health transformation / CIS implementation project. With direct experience building or implementing a similar scale Clinical Information System (EHR/CIS).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst/Clinical Informatics Analyst developing clinical deliverables supporting therapeutics.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Business Analyst responsible for Documentation related requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design / build activities, implementation, and developing clinical documentation related to therapeutic services, or therapeutic experience in an acute care setting. Additional points will be provided if there is also experience in one or more of the following: computerized provider order entry (CPOE), order sets, clinical documentation, ancillary services (Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, Lab).
  • Verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in French and English is strongly preferred.
  • Facilitation skills: demonstrated experience in leading workshops with healthcare providers to identify and articulate business requirements, system requirements, and develop user stories or use cases.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work with multiple teams supporting more than one project stream/activity at a time.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) AND Atlassian’s JIRA software in a Project/work environment.
  • Previous experience working within public health authorities, showcasing a strong understanding of the public healthcare landscape, policies, and practices. Additional points if there is experience in the New Brunswick Healthcare system.
