Job Description:
Under the direction of the Director or Sr. Manager, Business Development, serves as the initial point of contact for finding potential deals. The Business Development manager will provide analysis, planning, and implementation of regional business development initiatives. S/He will source and analyze potential purchase opportunities, and assist with financial valuations and business assessments for a region or market (usually mid-size to large). As part of overall business development activities they will participate in due diligence and integration activities for identified opportunities.
Key Job Responsibilities

Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.

Develops relationships with owners, suppliers, and others to build a pipeline for shops to acquire.

Identifies, screens and helps determine the value of acquisition and investment opportunities, through cold calls, warm leads, in-person meetings.

Completes deal analysis and due diligence within regional assignment/ territory.

Collaborates with counterparts in legal, finance, human resources, business sponsors and other functional teams to assist with due diligence and plan post-acquisition integration.

Completes required analysis and reporting to inform and advise leadership, drive internal decision-making processes and monitor ongoing progress to corporate goals.

Supports Corporate Development efforts to create and achieve overall corporate strategy.
Education and/or Experience Required

Bachelor's degree required

1 to 2+ years of total business experience with knowledge of investment banking, equity research, corporate development, or sales.
Required Skills/Abilities
-
Strong financial fluency and experience evaluating companies (analysis, modeling, valuation, and research).

Collision experience, automotive aftermarket or similar experience preferred.

Experience leading cross-functional projects in an organized and efficient fashion.

Ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Highest ethical standards; excellent judgment; personal/professional integrity; proven discretion in handling confidential information.

High level of computer proficiency, including spreadsheets and other business platforms.
