The Claims L&D and Change Management Specialist plays a critical role in enabling people, performance, and change across the Claims organization. This role partners closely with Claims leaders and subject matter experts to design and deliver impactful learning programs, support change initiatives, and guide clear, engaging communications. Responsible for end‑to‑end onboarding and training across all Claims lines of business, the Specialist ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to succeed, while driving alignment, adoption, and engagement through effective change enablement and communications.
What you will do:
- Deliver engaging training across all Claims lines of business (LOBs) using various platforms
- Lead onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a seamless experience
- Design, implement and track eLearning content using Articulate360 and LMS platforms
- Collaborate with SMEs and internal teams to ensure training is relevant and effective
- Develop and implement change and communication plans, tailored to specific claims and company initiatives
- Support the rollout of key Claims initiatives through training and communication strategies
- Develop materials and learning resources to drive adoption
- Serve as a central point of contact for Claims communications
- Draft and distribute bulletins, updates, and initiative-related content
- Collaborate with SMEs to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned
- Organize and manage Claims townhalls
- Create monthly newsletters providing engaging and pertinent information
What you will need to succeed:
- CIP designation, or actively pursuing/willing to obtain
- Community college or relevant industry experience.
- Change Management Professional designation or Prosci Certified Change Practitioner an asset
- 3-5 years of experience of in-depth Knowledge of Insurance Claims: Proficiency in claims processes, policies, and regulationsis preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in training, instructional design, or learning & development, preferably within insurance or claims is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience using Articulate360 and LMS platforms and other related systems.
- 3-5 years of experience in change management and communications is preferred.
- Design, develop, and deliver effective training programs and materials across in‑person and virtual environments.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to clearly convey complex information and engage diverse audiences.
- Build positive learning environments through strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, patience, and empathy.
- Proficient with learning technologies, e‑learning platforms, and tools such as Microsoft Office, Articulate360 and Powtoons.
- Assess learning needs, evaluate training effectiveness, and identify solutions to improve learning outcomes.
- Flexible in approach, responsive to changing business needs and learning styles, with a commitment to continuous learning and feedback-driven improvement.
- Effectively manage training schedules, resources, and multiple priorities.
Location: Hybrid: This is a hybrid role. Please note, regular in-person workdays at our Cambridge Office are expected.
The expected base salary range for this position is $67,000 - $117,000. Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual’s discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
