The Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist will be part of the Supply Chain Projects and Performance team, responsible for the CI pillar within Supply Chain. This role will also support the management of site and production area capacity and parameter assumptions including batch capacity, yields, lot loss adherence, OEE, etc. In addition, The CI Specialist will own the management of the cycle count and provision and destruction processes and programs for the Toronto site and will be the point of contact for global correspondences with respect to these topics.

Main Responsibilities:
Continuous improvement
Collaborating with PCU/APU Lead and other transversal functions(e.g. HSE, Quality, ENG to create a culture of Continuous Improvement
Working with all levels of leadership to realize CI value and impact, escalating issues if necessary.
Collaborating with the HSE SC specialist to support at best the PCU on HSE activities and CI process.
Train and coach, the team on problem solving and root cause analysis tools
Facilitate the Level 1 CI process, including coordinating CI projects prioritization.
Lead the development and continuous improvement of role cards and standard work plans
Lead Level 1 CI meeting, ensuring the CI board is updated by project owners.
Contribute to CI projects at Level 2 CI meeting and escalates to Level 2 major impacts caused by activities of other units
Interface to Global Supply Planning to align standards channel improvements into the site SC
Site SC Performance
Drive implementation of relevant KPIs at site level to measure Site SC performance
Responsible to correct and aligned data sources for KPI calculation
Monitor & track monthly Site SC Performance PCU / APU & Site level
Conduct root cause analysis to effectively addresses issues
Support to operations
Serve as the point of contact for other units to share losses or impacts resulting from the activities of their Level 1 team
Analyze data from data collection systems to help set daily, weekly, and monthly prioritization and escalation decisions by the PCU Lead.
Create and update Pareto of losses from data collection systems as input to Level 1 +QDCI meeting. Attends and contributes to the daily Level 1 +QDCI meeting. If the PCU CI Specialist covers more than one Process-Centric Unit, they can rotate daily between the different PCUs they are covering.
Capability Process Management
Collect and analyze production area capacity data from partners and available tools. Ensure data is usable and scalable for operational planning and decision-making. Support timely updates to parameters in systems (such as SAP) as required.
Challenge assumptions and propose parameter changes in collaboration with Finance, OPEX, Production, and MSAT. Develop capacity scenarios as required.
Support platform capability reviews across different APUs through management of key inputs, constraints, max capacities, shutdowns, etc.
Facilitate the flow of information (inputs, outputs, escalations) from platform capability reviews to relevant stakeholders and processes (such as SSR, SCR) with accurate data, strong analytics and trends
Cycle Count and Provision and Destruction Management
Lead Cycle Count program implementation and training in each PCU. Monitor cycle count and inventory management performance in the PCUs and report on highlights and deficiencies at the monthly governance meetings
Develop CI initiatives to address performance gaps in Cycle Counting in areas with low count accuracies or deviations in inventory management
Work with site finance, internal controls, and third party auditors to ensure site compliance to regulated stock-taking process and best inventory practices
Support the management of blocked/rejected materials in the PCUs through Waste Destruction process and tools, providing training and performance monitoring of removal of blocked materials
Work with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain partners to ensure materials to be blocked are provisioned by Supply Chain and liaise with Finance to maintain accurate provision and destruction data and classifications. Work with HSE and Operations to ensure sensitive and non sensitive materials are disposed of as per guidelines
Develop and publish KPIs to be reviewed and discussed at monthly governance meetings
SAP key user – participate in SAP incident resolutions, testing system updates, communicating changes to the areas
About You
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business Management/Science with 2 years of experience.
Preferred Lean Six Sigma (any level) certification
Expertise with IT tools, particularly ERP systems (SAP), advanced planning tool (Kinaxis) and proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Word.
Autonomy and decision-making: Ability to work independently and make informed decisions within the scope of responsibilities.
Strong communication skills incl. critical thinking and challenging with a strong ability to analyze problems and build solutions

The salary range for this position is:
$76,200.00 - $110,066.66All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
