The RoleAs part of the Generac Marketing team, this position executes marketing strategies in order to drive growth with existing customers as well as acquire new customers. In this exciting new role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with dealers and partner with them to run various marketing campaigns and initiatives that ultimately lead to Generac’s continued success.This is a Hybrid position, and this person will be expected to work from our Toronto office at least two days per week.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop and implement strategic channel marketing plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Prioritize, build and execute effective marketing campaigns that generate leads and accelerate them through the funnel.
- Analyze and report on the performance of channel marketing programs, communications, promotions, assets, and media presenting insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to curate equipment and service sales experience
- Drive the development of compelling marketing communications, collateral, presentations, and promotional materials to inform, educate, engage, and support channel partners.
- Conduct in-depth market research, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and ensuring a competitive edge in the industry.
- Provide training and support to channel partners, ensuring a deep understanding of our marketing and sales programs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and vendors including external agencies and creative vendors building plans, negotiating agreements, and optimizing mutual success.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align channel marketing initiatives with overall company goals and strategies.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI. Experience developing and managing Marketing Development Funds or Co-Op Fund programs and budgets preferred.
- Track and analyze competitive marketing at a regional level
- Support local sponsorships / events / partnerships as needed
- Get familiar with local incentives and develop programs that leverage those incentives to make it as easy as possible to do business with Generac
- 5 plus years proven experience in channel marketing and/or B2B marketingBachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field. MBA preferred but not required.
- Expertise in digital marketing and can demonstrated success in building local/regional marketing strategies and executing them.
- Ability to anticipate challenges, proactively resolve issues while executing marketing projects.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Enterprise Marketing team, craft professional briefs, and serve as a translator on more technical concepts
- Comfortable interacting frequently with a wide range of sales partners, driving for results when consistent follow-up is required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Self-starter with an ability to handle a wide range of projects and work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of marketing automation and lead management tools.
- Ability to communicate insights effectively and drive decisions
