About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and risk-aware Change Analyst to join our IT Governance team. In this role, you will coordinate, review, and process IT changes to ensure they are properly assessed, approved, scheduled, and implemented with appropriate controls. This role supports change management processes to minimize risk, reduce service disruption, and maintain the stability of production environments. You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to enforce governance and support operational integrity.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and enforce the IT change management framework, ensuring all changes comply with documented policies, control requirements, and audit standards.
  • Review change requests for completeness, accuracy, risk, and regulatory impact while ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained and documented.
  • Manage the change calendar and coordinate scheduling across teams while maintaining clear communication and audit traceability.
  • Validate that changes are implemented as approved and conduct post-implementation reviews for failed, emergency, or high-risk changes.
  • Develop and deliver change management metrics and compliance reports to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with IT support, infrastructure, and application teams, as well as business stakeholders.
  • Maintain segregation of duties and proper evidence retention in accordance with governance standards.
  • Identify control gaps, trends, and opportunities to strengthen change governance and reduce risk exposure.
  • Support internal and external audit activities related to change management processes.
  • Contribute to improving service reliability and reducing operational risk across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Change Management or IT Service Management.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL change management practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple changes in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Excellent coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and drive control enhancements.
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.

Location: Toronto

The hiring base salary range for this position is $62,600 - $86,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
