Job Summary

The Category Marketing Specialist, Utility drives the Canadian marketing strategy for KEEN Utility, delivering an exceptional omni-channel experience while strengthening engagement and brand affinity with work-focused fans. In this role, you will execute the full marketing plan, manage an integrated broadcast calendar, and determine the marketing tactics required to support business success. Working closely with the Canadian Go-To-Market Team, Global Utility Team, Canadian Sales force, and other partners —including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and eCommerce—you will ensure the voice of the Canadian Utility fan is represented across all channels. This role combines creativity and analytical insight, with responsibilities including monitoring sales trends, executing seasonal campaigns and promotions, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory productivity and profitability

Essential Functions

Description

  • Establish the vision and long-term strategy for the KEEN Utility category in Canada, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manage the strategy and execution of integrated promotions and category marketing campaigns to promote Keen Utility. 
  • Assist web team maintain content on website, email, social media, and events, ensuring content always meets current best practices. 
  • Assist with measuring and analyzing marketing metrics, including campaign results, conversion rates, and online traffic to improve future initiatives. 
  • Execute global launch plans for key brand stories and content, providing local and regional insights as needed. 
  • Leverage internal and external data sources, including digital analytics and market research, to generate actionable consumer insights. 
  • Maintain deep category and market knowledge, acting on trends, cultural moments, and consumer needs. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, DTC, Sales, Customer Service, and eCommerce teams to ensure seamless campaign execution. 
  • Audit online and in-store campaigns, providing findings, recommendations, and insights to improve marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in marketing in a B2C or agency environment.

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, and CMS software. 
  • Strong research skills with the ability to investigate industry trends and translate insights into strategic recommendations. 
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset, learning from past challenges and continually seeking to enhance skills. 
  • Ability to synthesize data and identify trends or extract key findings and turn them into actionable insights. 
  • Effective at managing multiple projects and delivering results under pressure. 
  • Skilled in analyzing campaign performance metrics to improve brand awareness and drive conversions. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Working knowledge of SFCC, EMARSYS, Google Analytics, Privy, and JIRA along with the ability to function within it required.

Travel Required: Yes, up to 10% regional and national travel required.

Base Salary: $69,390 - $73,245

This range represents the low and high ends of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
