Category Manager – Field Execution

  

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive execution plans aligned with IB and NNL targets, ensuring measurable pipeline growth and oreder impact.

  • Lead sales plays and campaigns, ensuring alignment across sales, presales, marketing, and partners to drive execution and accountability.

  • Strengthen customer, partner, and channel engagement by fostering high impact relationships, enabling deal execution, and maximizing sales influence.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to track performance, refine strategies, and optimize sales execution for sustained growth.

  • Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving, proactively addressing challenges, driving alignment, and ensuring seamless execution.

  • Develop deep category expertise, understanding product positioning, business management, and sales strategies to drive competitive advantage.

  • Contribute to the category business plan, shaping go-to-market strategies and ensuring execution effectiveness.

  • Own segment performance responsibility, ensuring orders and profitability targets are met.

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelors degree in Business Studies or Finance; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

  • Typically 10+ years of professional experience with a combination of Sales, Strategy, Business Planning experienced preferred.

  • Demonstrated Management/ Team leadership experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of market trends and competition to build business plans.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales cycles and GTM execution.

  • Skilled in building relationships and driving collaboration across customers and partners.

  • Expertise in business planning and analyzing complex data.

  • Effective in engaging and driving actions with teams and senior management.

  • Strong leadership in aligning sales, supply chain, and marketing.

USD Annual Salary: $155,500.00 - $365,000.00
