  • You will manage assortment planning, product lifecycle management, and innovation pipelines across national brands, exclusive brands, and private label products.

  • You will establish pricing and promotional strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability, and customer value.

  • You will analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive activity to inform category decisions and identify growth opportunities.

  • You will build and manage relationships with key vendors, including negotiations, line reviews, joint business planning, and issue resolution.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Inventory & Forecasting, Marketing, Digital & eCommerce, Supply Chain, and Store Operations to deliver category initiatives.

  • You will oversee product forecasting, replenishment planning, merchandising strategies, and in-store execution including planograms and displays.

  • You will monitor performance data using Excel, reporting tools, and dashboards to generate insights and drive data-driven decisions.

  • You will lead and influence cross-functional partners and category analysts to ensure successful execution of business initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • You will have 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Retail Merchandising, or a related retail or consumer goods role.

  • You will have strong financial acumen with experience managing KPIs such as sales, margin, and inventory performance.

  • You will have experience developing and executing category or business plans that deliver measurable financial results.

  • You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • You will have a strong understanding of retail or consumer goods environments, including merchandising and product lifecycle management.

  • You will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to take ownership of business outcomes.
