The Director of Marketing leads and executes growth-focused marketing strategies, with a strong focus on sales enablement through performance marketing across all Teladoc Health services in Canada. This role combines strategic vision with a strong focus on hands-on execution, in addition to driving awareness, adoption, and engagement through collateral, digital content and campaigns. The Director ensures a unified brand story, develops actionable insights from market research, and delivers measurable results while collaborating across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Growth Marketing Strategy & Execution: Lead and execute growth-focused marketing strategies across all Teladoc Health services in Canada, translating business objectives into integrated marketing plans that drive awareness, adoption, engagement, and measurable revenue impact through a strong “roll-up-your-sleeves” execution approach.
Sales Enablement (Core Accountability): Own the strategy, development, and ongoing optimization of sales enablement across Canada—building and maintaining high-impact collateral, sales tools, and digital assets that support B2B (employers/insurers) and health system buyers, and improving field adoption through clear governance, version control, and distribution.
Performance Marketing & Demand Generation: Lead the disciplined execution of multi-channel performance marketing and demand generation programs (digital, social, email, content, and paid channels), leveraging marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to generate and convert demand and to continually improve performance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Engage and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial, HHS, Product, Clinical, Operations, Legal/Privacy, Finance) to align on priorities, gain approvals, remove barriers, and ensure cohesive execution in a matrixed environment; apply strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Unified Brand Story & Messaging: Ensure a unified brand narrative for Teladoc Health Canada across all touchpoints, applying a scalable approach to messaging, content, and campaign development while maintaining alignment with enterprise brand standards and positioning.
Market & Customer Insights Activation: Develop actionable marketing insights from quantitative and qualitative research, synthesizing market, customer, and competitive inputs into clear segment needs, messaging, content priorities, and campaign approaches that improve commercial outcomes.
Marketing Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Establish disciplined operating rhythms for planning, prioritization, and execution across cross-functional teams; navigate ambiguity, prioritize opportunities, make decisions, and deliver against compressed timelines with a high degree of accountability.
Measurement, Analytics & Reporting: Define and report on performance metrics for campaigns, channels, and enablement effectiveness; use insights to optimize marketing investments and demonstrate measurable outcomes tied to business objectives.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team; set clear expectations, provide feedback, and foster collaboration and accountability across a hybrid work environment.
Special Projects: Lead and/or support special projects as assigned, including priority launches, strategic initiatives, and new capability builds required to support evolving business needs in Canada.

Qualifications Expected for Position
Strong background in healthcare marketing with an understanding of hospital, health systems and physician practice technology buyers & users, plus insurers and employee benefit clients.
Ability to move from strategic insight to hands on executional delivery.
Strong business acumen to deliver revenue.
Sophisticated skills in senior-level stakeholder engagement and management.
Critical thinker with proven communication, persuasion, and negotiation expertise.
Highly data driven with experience synthesizing quantitative and qualitative insights to inform marketing and business decisions.
Proven track record applying a scalable, disciplined approach to messaging, content, multi-channel campaign development, and demand generation.
Expertise in sales enablement, digital, social, email, content, and paid marketing channels, as well as marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead, build high performing teams and collaborate within cross-functional and matrixed teams: listens to diverse perspectives, builds consensus, navigates ambiguity, prioritizes opportunities, makes decisions, manages/motivates self and others.
Self-starter who can thrive with white space.
A strong thought leader who can execute and roll up their sleeves, within compressed timelines.
A relevant bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business is required, MBA preferred.
8+ years of Marketing experience required, including hands-on experience executing multi-channel campaigns, developing content and collateral, managing marketing technology and analytics, driving demand generation, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
5+ years people management experience required.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $170,000/year.
