About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and driven C++ Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for a Master’s level student who has a strong interest in browser technologies, particularly Chromium, and C++ development. You will work closely with our development team to build and optimize browser-based applications, ensuring seamless performance and scalability from the frontend to the backend. This immersive internship offers hands-on experience, collaboration with senior management, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. While demanding, it promises to be a rewarding complement to your academic journey, equipping you with valuable skills and insights. 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize both frontend and backend components using C++ in a full-stack environment. 
• Work with Chromium-based technologies, customizing and forking Chromium to build browser-based solutions. 
• Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to ensure smooth data flow and integration between user interfaces and server-side logic. 
• Design and implement responsive user interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance. 
• Develop and maintain server-side components and APIs, working with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL. 
• Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of the entire web application, focusing on both frontend and backend optimizations. 
• Participate in code reviews, collaborate using Notion, and contribute to discussions on development best practices. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest C++ development trends and browser technologies.

About You:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s program in  Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required. Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming language. 
• Experience with browser technologies, particularly Chromium, and customizing browser functionality. 
• Full-stack knowledge with the ability to work on both user interfaces and server-side logic. 
•  Familiarity with database management and backend technologies (PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL). 
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development. 
• Experience with performance optimization for browser-based applications. 
•  Experience with both frontend frameworks (e.g., React.js, Material-UI) and backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). 
• Knowledge of web security best practices. 
• Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing and debugging. 
• Experience with Redux for state management and Notion for collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills within a cross-functional team environment. 
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Recruitment Process:

2. Written Questionnaire: Selected candidates will receive a set of 10 written questions to assess their fit and technical knowledge..
3. Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit.  The ability to video record your answers will be required.
4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you believe that this internship is for you.
