About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and collaborative Business Systems Analyst with strong reporting and business intelligence capabilities to serve as the critical link between our business teams and IT. In this role, you will translate business needs into clear technical solutions, evaluate and recommend software tools, and help design efficient processes that support our strategic goals.

In addition, you will play a key role in building and delivering reporting solutions, extracting data from multiple systems, and packaging insights into meaningful dashboards and reports for stakeholders across teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and IT stakeholders to ensure that systems, workflows, and reporting environments are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
This role is a hybrid role in the Montreal area.

What You Will Do

Analytics Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

  • Analyze business requirements and recommend information technology solutions that address specific operational needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the implementation and improvement of systems and business processes.

  • Define system scope, objectives, and documentation standards for new and existing initiatives.

  • Create detailed functional and technical documentation to guide tool implementation and process improvements.

  • Evaluate new software tools and technologies to determine fit within current and future IT environments.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including coordinating issue reporting, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Support system enhancements by defining requirements, participating in testing, and ensuring smooth adoption by end users.

Reporting Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making across departments.

  • Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple systems (CRM, ERP, marketing platforms, support tools, etc.).

  • Develop reporting frameworks that ensure key business metrics are consistent, reliable, and accessible.

  • Translate business questions into actionable insights and visual storytelling tailored to stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership.

  • Partner with business owners to define KPIs, reporting needs, and data governance standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or STEM-related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, ideally within internal IT teams.

  • Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in both business and IT environments.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving processes and systems.

  • Experience creating high-quality documentation including functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating issue resolutions.

  • Strong ability to research, evaluate, and recommend software solutions and internal process improvements.

  • Demonstrated experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI (or similar BI tools).

  • Strong ability to extract and transform data from multiple sources into structured reporting outputs.

  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts, KPI development, and business performance reporting.

  • Ability to present complex data in a clear, business-friendly way for different functional owners (Sales, Marketing, CS).
