Position Summary
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will support the development and maintenance of data reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that help business teams make informed decisions. You’ll work with Power BI and SQL to turn data into insights, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, data visualization, and collaborating across departments.
*Please note, this is a 1 year term role*
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor key business metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights that help guide business strategy and performance improvement.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate business needs into effective analytical solutions.
  • Support data quality, governance, and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including report creation and dashboard design.
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL query development.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and data modeling concepts,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Asset: Certification such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate; experience with Excel, cloud BI platform
  • Asset: ETL tools and processes, data ingestion, and architecture.
