About the role

  • As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at UniUni, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential brand partners to drive new business opportunities. Your primary goal is to generate high-quality leads that contribute to UniUni’s revenue growth by generating high-quality sales opportunities. You will use a multi-channel outreach approach (Cold Calling, Emails, LinkedIn Outreach, and Industry events) to engage key decision-makers and qualify prospects for the sales team. 

This role is ideal for a motivated, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wants to make a significant impact in the final mile logistics and e-commerce space. 


What you'll do

Budget and/or revenue Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly lead generation quotas. 
  • Contributes to the sales pipeline, supporting revenue targets aligned with UniUni’s growth objectives. 
  • Helping onboard SMB clients to our new Small Business platform 


Qualifications

Related Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Lead Generation role, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, SaaS, or B2B industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, qualified leads, onboarding).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tool

Formal Education or Equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills—ability to engage C-level executives and decision-makers. 
  • Excellent prospecting and research abilities—identifying and reaching high-value targets. 
  • Proficiency in cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking. 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with sales & marketing teams. 
  • Data-driven mindset—ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies accordingly. 



Location: Hybrid role, minimum 3 days in office (Toronto-based required) 

Compensation Range: Base salary: $55k + Commission
