What’s this role about?

Hold the torch high! As a business development representative, you’ll play an integral role in Auvik’s success and growth, using your energy, smarts, resourcefulness, and charisma to develop sales opportunities. Excel in this role and there’s a clear growth path to Auvik account executive.

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, researching, and warming up prospective buyers for our network management software. Every day, you will focus on: 

  • Researching and developing business intelligence for new and existing accounts 
  • Conducting high-level conversations with senior executives
  • Delivering compelling explanations of Auvik’s capabilities to prospects
  • Achieving your monthly quota of qualified opportunities and meetings attended 
  • Evangelizing Auvik’s network management software
  • Generating new business opportunities to fuel Auvik’s growth

What are we looking for?

  • Great communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Solid internet research skills
  • A passion for learning new things quickly and a strong technical aptitude

Compensation Details: 
At Auvik, our compensation philosophy is to be market competitive, reward performance, reflect our commitment to equity and maintain transparency with our employees. We have defined job levels and compensation ranges for each of our markets we employ, based on research from various sources of market data, which are reviewed on a regular basis.

The hiring range for this position is listed below. Compensation offered for candidates in this role is based on a number of factors including job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. These factors may cause your compensation to vary within the range outlined below. 

In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees are granted stock options to share in Auvik’s future successes. Auvik employees are eligible to participate in additional benefits and programs including our comprehensive health and dental benefits plan, Wellness spending account, GRSP matching program, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave program, and are eligible for remote working subsidies.

OTE Salary (Base + Target Incentive):
$61,000$61,000 CAD
