About Ideogram

Ideogram’s mission is to make world-class design accessible to everyone, multiplying human creativity. We build proprietary generative media models and AI native creative workflows, tackling unsolved challenges in graphic design. Our team includes builders with a track record of technology breakthroughs including early research in Diffusion Models, Google’s Imagen, and Imagen Video. We care about design, taste, and craft as much as research and engineering – shipping experiences that creatives actually love.

We’ve raised nearly $100M, led by Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures. Headquartered in Toronto with a growing team in NYC, we're scaling fast, aiming to triple over the next year. We're a flat team with a culture of high ownership, collaboration, and mentorship.

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative at Ideogram, you’ll join our early, expanding sales team at the intersection of AI, creativity, and enterprise transformation. You’ll be the first point of contact for some of the world’s most recognizable brands as they rethink how design is created and scaled in an AI-native world.

You’ll work closely with our Enterprise Account Executives, marketing, and product teams to open doors with quality-obsessed brands and build the pipeline that drives Ideogram’s enterprise growth. This is a great seat for someone who wants to launch or accelerate a career in tech sales at a company that’s still writing its playbook.

Your Mission

  • Build pipeline from the ground up: Source new opportunities through strategic outbound and by qualifying inbound interest from enterprise teams across marketing, creative, product, and AI.

  • Run thoughtful, multi-channel outreach: Reach prospects through email, LinkedIn, phone, and events, with messaging that is personal, relevant, and respects their time.

  • Know your accounts: Research target companies, map out key stakeholders and decision-makers, and identify where custom branded models and workflow integrations could make a real difference.

  • Partner with Account Executives: Hand off well-qualified opportunities and work together on account strategy and pipeline generation.

  • Sharpen our message: Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and positioning, and bring back what you hear from the market to inform our approach and product direction.

  • Stay close to the frontier: Keep up with Ideogram’s product, the generative AI landscape, and how brands are adopting creative AI.

  • Grow your craft: Develop core sales skills, including discovery, objection handling, communicating value, prioritization, and time management, with real exposure to complex enterprise sales cycles.

What We’re Looking For

  • Customer-facing drive: A strong interest in building a career in sales or another customer-facing role.

  • Excellent communication: Clear, compelling, and personable in both writing and conversation.

  • Genuine curiosity: You enjoy understanding what customers are building and the challenges they face, whether that’s scaling creative operations or maintaining brand consistency.

  • Builder mindset: You’re comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership, and move with urgency when processes aren’t yet defined.

  • Performance-oriented: You track your results, look for ways to improve, and stay motivated by hitting and exceeding goals.

  • Relationship builder: You have a knack for earning trust quickly, including with senior stakeholders.

Even Better If You Have

  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing or quota-carrying role

  • Experience with a CRM (Attio)

  • Hands-on experience with generative AI or creative tools, or a real passion for following the space

  • Experience in a tech or SaaS environment
