Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and sophisticated Business Development Manager who can confidently engage with CEOs, CFOs, investors, business owners, and other senior decision-makers.
This is a senior-level business development role focused on building trusted relationships with executives, understanding their leadership and hiring needs, and generating qualified opportunities for our executive recruitment team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and engage CEOs, CFOs, investors, founders, and senior executives.
- Identify companies considering changes or additions to their leadership teams.
- Conduct thoughtful, consultative conversations with senior decision-makers.
- Build credibility and long-term relationships with prospective clients.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities.
- Book high-quality meetings for the recruitment firm’s leadership team.
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and nurture relationships over time.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and track opportunities in the CRM.
- Clearly communicate the firm’s executive search and recruitment capabilities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong business development, executive recruitment, staffing, or B2B sales experience.
- Sophisticated communicator who speaks with confidence and authority.
- Comfortable speaking directly with C-suite executives and investors.
- Persuasive without being overly aggressive or “salesy.”
- Thoughtful, intelligent, and relationship-driven.
- Strong appointment-setting and lead-generation skills.
- Able to establish trust quickly with senior-level prospects.
