As a Default Solutions Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing deep relationships with a portfolio of B2B Lender and Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) clients, based primarily in the GTA but spread out across Canada. You will build strong relationships throughout those organizations and become a “trusted advisor” to decision- makers. Through proactive outreach, and by working with internal partners, you will become an expert on the FCT Default Solutions products and services and provide information and advice to our valued customers.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Grow business and exceed sales targets from clients or potential clients that are identified while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction to ensure we exceed in our customer satisfaction ratings.

  • Proactively grow sales and identify new opportunities, through your industry knowledge and by leveraging internal expertise in accordance with FCT Values and Behaviours.

  • Foster and protect existing client relationships and research and develop prospect markets, set sales objectives and deliver to those objectives

  • Share client feedback with internal stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Be aware of industry competitors and share relevant information with internal stakeholders.

  • Work with internal resources in understanding opportunities or network contacts.

  • We pride ourselves on delivering expert knowledge in the industry and in doing so you will work with internal peers to clearly establish and communicate proposals to existing or prospective customers.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • University degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.

  • Expertise in credit risk management, default management or collections related fields.

  • Business development experience in a solution selling business to business sales environment.

  • A strong outreach focus with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build strong, successful client relationships.

  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets in accordance with FCT Corporate Values and Behaviours.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and computer skills.

  • Strong initiative, time management and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time.

  • Sound presentation skills that meet the mark quickly for executive buy in.



Total Direct Compensation:

95,300 - 145,300

Any pay range is in $CAD
