You will design, develop, maintain and support reporting and analysis to influence and drive decision making to support business operations and business insight leveraging modern data warehouse and transformation tools.
Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $71,000 - $100,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Executing on special projects / ad-hoc assignments as required with the ability to assume assignments that are moderate- to highly complex and multi-faceted, to be performed under management guidance
Provide technical leadership across a broad range of data analysis functions including data modeling, report design (utilizing tableau or Power BI), structured query language (SQL), data quality, data profiling, and other specialized data management functions
Manage and direct activities related to analysis, design and support of technical data management solutions on multiple projects
Develop and maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within various platforms
Collaborate with business and technology partners to elicit information/data requirement and articulate those requirements in a manner that can be easily understood by team members
Data mining and analysis for various initiatives include writing queries and transforming data into reports for use across the organization
Extensive SQL query skills to produce tableau or Power BI dashboard reporting as well as ad hoc analytics
Design and development of data sources based on requirements for reporting objects
Experience with Tableau or Power BI reporting. Design dashboards, scorecards, and other visualizations (includes dashboard data source transformation and creation)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related field of study
3-5 years of experience working with various data sources and relational databases
Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Hands-on experience with BI tools and data visualization best practices. (Tableau and Power BI preferred)
Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation frameworks.
Some experience with big data tools like Snowflake, Databricks or Big Query (Snowflake preferred).
