The Business Analyst will contribute to the development of stories (requirements), workflows and procedures, business analysis, acceptance testing, and the implementation of new or enhanced applications in alignment with the program. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all requirements align with digital standards, enable agile team development, and deliver high quality results.
How you will create impact:
- Consulting with stakeholders to understand, gather, and document clear and concise business and technology requirements, processes, issues, and risks.
- Investigating and recommending solutions using sound business judgement while consulting with all affected areas and apply solutions where appropriate.
- Supporting technical design, development, and testing activities by offering subject matter expertise to respond to inquiries, participating in reviews and providing context regarding business needs and requirements.
- Develop business process/workflow models and uses data models to contribute to the development of reporting metrics.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing procedures, forms and workflows.
To join our team:
- You have a post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science or other related fields.
- Minimum three years of related business experience (preferably in a business management/effectiveness capacity, requirement gathering and facilitation/presentation experience).
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Business Analyst role (preferably working in an agile environment).
- Strong Business/systems knowledge and comprehension of applications, procedures, and workflows.

Expected salary range $60,574 - $100,956
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
