Are you passionate about technology and working for a company that values fun?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Business Analyst for a 6-month (+) contract to deliver consultative services directly to our clients and build relationships with our stakeholders and project teams!
A Day in the Life:
- Perform needs analysis, gather, and analyze business and technical requirements and provide recommendations for solutions and business process modifications
- Work with technical teams to turn end user and business requirements into solution design and implementation plans
- Determine viable solutions for the implementation and on-going operations associated with the client's IT Service Management Office
- Responsible for researching and analyzing business functions and system requirements for process workflow design and technical design documentation
What You Bring:
- 8+ years’ professional experience in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role working in both the business and IT environment
- Significant professional experience as a business analyst in an enterprise environment
- Experience working on large technical migration
- Experience defining business problems, creating business strategies, and identifying business opportunities
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and development methodology
- Knowledge of and experience with ITIL/ITSM principles and concepts
- Experience conducting facilitated workshops for requirements analysis
- Experience with new implementation projects
What Makes You Extra Awesome:
- Business Analyst certification (CBAP, ECBA, ECBA+, CCBA)
- IIBA-certified Business Analyst certification
- Familiar with complementary IT service management frameworks, such as project management, business analysis, LeanIT, COBIT, DevOps, and Cloud Computing
