The Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join Capco’s Business Consulting practice in Toronto. You’ll be working closely with our financial services clients to define business requirements that drive impactful change across systems and operations. This role requires strong collaboration with solution and technology delivery teams to ensure alignment from ideation to implementation.

What You’ll Do

  • Elicit and document high-level business requirements with input from cross-functional teams

  • Translate business needs into detailed system requirements and supporting artefacts

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to refine requirements

  • Collaborate with technology teams to align requirements with solution design

  • Support testing and validation to ensure requirements are met

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services

  • Ability to translate complex business problems into structured documentation

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery frameworks

  • Familiarity with process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in core banking or capital markets transformation initiatives

  • Exposure to enterprise architecture or solution design practices

  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Visio

  • Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven projects

  • Business analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent)
