Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.

  • Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.

  • Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization.

Must Haves:

  • Hands-on experience working with FHIR standards, including resource modeling and FHIR APIs
  • Experience with Agile project methodology leveraging Azure DevOps
  • Experience transposing data requirements into coherent user stories
  • Experience working closely with technical teams to communicate, clarify, and validate data requirements
  • Experience using Databricks and writing SQL queries
  • Experience in data analysis and source-to-target mapping, specifically transforming and mapping relational database source systems to the FHIR standard
  • Experience creating JSON files and using Postman
  • 1+ years hands-on experience working with FHIR standards, including resource modeling and FHIR APIs
  • Understanding of HL4-FHIR resources and implementation guides
  • Experience with data validation testing and API testing using Postman
  • Ability to support cloud solutions and system integrations within Microsoft stack
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience with creating and managing user stories using Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

  • Experience with a wide range of methods, tools and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling, business event modelling, business process mapping

  • Experience in structured, object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements

  • Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up

  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards

General Skills:


  • Experience in digital projects and enterprise system implementations

  • Experience grooming and assembling requirements into coherent user stories and use cases and managing the Product Backlog Items, refining them and communicate changes to project Product Owner

  • Support the BA Lead in collaborating with the Product Owner and end users to understand business processes, operational needs, and team workflows

  • Act as a proxy Product Owner for the team, where the BA answers questions or facilitates decisions on behalf of an absent Product Owner

  • Develop sound processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to JAD sessions, interviews, mockups, etc.

  • Support business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions

  • Monitor progress, resolve problems and reports regularly to technical team

  • Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools to document conceptual requirements and scope

  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.

  • Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology, Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process, and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies 

  • Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools to document conceptual requirements and scope
