About the Role

Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting is seeking a strategic and tech-savvy Business Process Manager to join our dynamic Marketing Operations team. This role will lead the management and optimization of our global marketing technology stack, ensuring our operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the latest innovations in the martech space.

As we continue to standardize our processes globally, this role will be instrumental in ensuring the alignment of tech stack globally, with careful consideration of regional legal and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of process expertise, technical fluency, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Marketing Process Enhancement

  • Evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and design new processes to improve efficiency and scalability that align with strategic goals.
  • Introduce and evaluate AI-powered tools to automate and enhance marketing operations.

Tech Stack Management & Optimization

  • Oversee the global marketing technology stack, ensuring tools are integrated and aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess tool performance, usage, and ROI.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements in systems and workflows.
  • Drive global standardization while ensuring compliance with regional data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CASL, CCPA).

Technology Research & Innovation

  • Stay current with emerging martech trends and innovations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new platforms to improve automation, analytics, and performance.
  • Lead pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies, including AI and machine learning.

Vendor & License Management

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring service levels and contract compliance.
  • Oversee license renewals, usage tracking, and budgeting in collaboration with finance and procurement.

Cross-Team Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a central point of contact for marketing technology initiatives.
  • Foster strong collaboration between marketing, IT, legal, finance, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out new processes.
  • Ensure that changes are communicated clearly and adopted smoothly by supporting training and onboarding of marketing teams on new tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, business process management, or martech roles.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms (CRM, automation, analytics, CMS, DAM).
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships and technology contracts.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess tool performance and process efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Passion for innovation and staying ahead of marketing technology trends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with global tech stack governance and standardization.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Pardot, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar.
  • Understanding of international data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CASL, CCPA).
  • Experience with AI tools relevant to marketing automation and analytics.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.

Compensation$96,300.00 - $146,150.00 CAD
This role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific offer for the job location during the hiring process.
