The Build Chief of Staff is a coordination and execution support role for the Build leadership team. Working alongside the Head of Build and the Heads of BuildX, BuildEXP, BuildIQ, and BuildOps, this role helps ensure Build strategy, delivery, and operations are executed effectively through strong coordination, shared operating rhythm, and clear organizational interfaces. This role is well suited to a highly motivated business or operations professional seeking broad exposure to strategy, delivery, and leadership, with a clear path for growth into senior roles over time.
What does success look like in this role?
- Your day to day might include some of these responsibilities:
- Coordinate Build leadership forums, planning cycles, OKRs, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Prepare agendas, consolidate inputs, track actions, and support follow-through on decisions.
- Support translation of Build strategy into coordinated execution across Build functions.
- Track initiative progress, dependencies, and risks, providing clear summaries to leadership.
- Assemble workforce planning and capacity views in partnership with Sales, Delivery, and Build leaders.
- Facilitate alignment on staffing models, sponsorship practices, and team health approaches.
- Act as a coordination and escalation point for contingent workforce resources and contractors.
- Support collection and visibility of engagement health and delivery metrics.
- Coordinate and facilitate SOW and proposal review sessions, ensuring the right inputs and stakeholders are present.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to assemble utilization, margin, and profitability views for Build leadership.
- Serve as a coordination interface between Build and adjacent functions such as Sales, Finance, People, and Operations.
- Support clear, consistent communication of priorities, decisions, and changes across Build.

- Experience supporting operating rhythms such as planning cycles, OKRs, and leadership forums
- Coordination of cross-functional working sessions, including agendas, notes, and action tracking
- Exposure to strategy-to-execution planning and helping translate priorities into actionable plans
- Experience tracking initiative progress, dependencies, and risks, and escalating issues as needed
- Experience preparing clear summaries and updates for leadership and stakeholders
- Exposure to workforce planning and capacity tracking in partnership with delivery and functional leaders
- Supporting staffing coordination and visibility into team health and engagement metrics
- Coordinating with contractors and contingent workforce resources as a point of contact
- Exposure to commercial and financial processes, including SOW/proposal reviews and utilization reporting
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, People, and Operations to support alignment and communication

Compensation & hiring process
We are recruiting for a future opportunity. The salary range for this role is $75,000–$100,000 CAD, reflecting expected base pay. Total compensation may also include additional pay such as bonuses or incentives, depending on the position, and final offers are based on experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our hiring process we may use technology, including AI-based tools, to help summarize and assess applications; these tools assist our team and do not replace human review or decision-making.
