Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is looking for a BrandManager to join the marketing team in Toronto on a 12 month contract

What You Will Do  

  • Manage and execute marketing campaigns for both corporate and employer brands 
  • Manage multiple projects from briefing to launch – project scoping, preplanning and proactive collaboration with design, digital and communications  
  • Research and identify our target audiences and industry peers  
  • Assess and deploy marketing initiatives, measure and iterate as required   
  • Project planning and budgeting  
  • Manage compliance requirements associated with marketing initiatives in a highly-regulated industry  
  • Build out virtual and in-person events from concept through execution  
  • Work with the marketing and communications team to brainstorm and implement new and innovative strategies  
  • Work with key stakeholders to update and improve their marketing efforts   
  • Identify latest trends and technologies within marketing relevant to the asset management industry  

What You Bring:

  • Experience: You have a minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience, ideally in asset management. Experience managing internal clients is an asset  
  • Knowledge: You have completed an Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or similar; asset management knowledge. Proficiency in verbal and written French is an asset  
  • Tech Savvy: You have familiarity and curiosity using digital marketing technology such as Salesforce Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), WordPress, and Formstack 
  • Social Media: Experience in utilizing social platforms and optimizing paid and organic media initiatives 
  • Communications: You have effective written and oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to improvise. You can run with a project independently but create consensus throughout the process 
  • Creativity: You have a creative mind with an eye for detail, ideas come naturally and you have proven it through your successful track record   

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000.  The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
