The preferred location for this role is Toronto, but we will also accept applications from candidates residing near other DIALOG studio locations (Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver).

How you'll make a difference:

  • Design, produce and oversee impactful and visually engaging marketing collateral for both print and digital media that are aligned with DIALOG’s brand guidelines 
  • Prepare and vet creative briefs and advise on design style, format, printing, etc. and produce/deliver the agreed upon marketing material
  • Manage development and ongoing implementation of DIALOG’s brand
  • Manage and distribute inbound graphic design requests to other team members and external resources
  • Stay current with best design practices, technologies, AI, visualizations and concepts and find innovative ways to strengthen our brand 
  • Lead the research, design and delivery of company branded material and promotional products in collaboration with our agencies and internal stakeholders. Apply project management practices to initiatives, coordinating work and capacity, triaging and assigning work (internally and/or external resources)
  • Ideate with the marketing team and project teams to produce layouts and templates for proposals, presentations, ads, etc. that best expresses our brand and the work we do
  • Liaise with local, external printers and vendors for quality design and delivery of marketing collateral and promotional products 
  • Establish the requirements for and oversee adherence to Open Asset platform (photo database)

Who you are:

  • Marketing Skills
  • You are an expert with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) and MS Office Platforms
  • You have an incredible eye for detail when it comes to graphics, layouts, photography, etc.
  • You understand how to distill complex information into simple and cohesive graphics/packages
  • You understand best design practices and concepts and stay up to date with the latest trends

  • Business Skills
  • You understand the interconnected nature of marketing and business development and the importance of collaboration
  • You have exceptional project management skills and understand how to coordinate a broad range of stakeholders from Partners to design professionals and external resources
  • You have strategic and critical thinking, problem-solving skills
  • You're an 'out-of-the-box' thinker that's always looking for innovative solutions to streamline and create efficiencies in marketing processes
  • You understand the importance of corporate ESG and reflecting this through branding
  • Your experience includes working in the Architecture & Engineering Industry, professional services, or B2B environments. Prior in-house experience is valuable.
  • Personal Skills
  • You have excellent listening and interpersonal relationship skills
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and enjoy presenting to large groups
  • You are experienced in navigating a consulting environment and are able to manage expectations and uncover resolutions for different audiences and needs
  • You love to collaborate, coach and mentor a graphics team to lift everyone's performance
  • You know how to effectively lead a team and resource for creative projects
  • You're able to multitask in a fast-paced / deadline-driven environment, and know how to prioritize both individual and team tasks
  • You're a self-starter that takes initiative and embraces responsibility for new projects and are a continuous learner

Qualifications:

  • You have 8+ years of related graphic design experience
  • You have a University degree of diploma in graphic design, visual communications, or equivalent
  • You have a design portfolio showcasing a diverse range of skills across various mediums.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a large professional services organization and/or the architecture, engineering, and consulting (AEC) industry
  • Experience in design animation
