Working closely with engineers, architects, and our offshore design teams, you will play a key role in delivering coordinated designs and construction documentation while supporting BIM standards and continuous process improvement.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop detailed, accurate 3D models of mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit in accordance with project scopes and engineering designs.
  • Prepare coordinated construction documentation, including plans, sections, schedules, details, and equipment layouts directly from Revit models.
  • Lead and manage spatial coordination and clash detection with structural, electrical, and architectural disciplines within a central model environment.
  • Implement and uphold corporate BIM standards, templates, and project delivery procedures, and assist with initial project setup and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with global offshore design centers to ensure seamless workflow, model consistency, and timely project delivery on large-scale assignments.
  • Mentor junior BIM designers by providing technical guidance on Revit modeling best practices, coordination workflows, and quality standards.
  • Assist in developing and testing design automation tools, workflows, and add-ins to improve efficiency across the BIM team while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional, hands-on experience dedicated to MEP modeling and coordination using Autodesk Revit within the consulting engineering or construction industry.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360, and common BIM coordination add-ins.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical building systems, including HVAC ductwork, hydronic piping, plumbing systems, equipment layouts, mechanical rooms, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary coordination within a central model environment, identifying spatial conflicts, and resolving complex routing issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across local teams and international offices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight project deadlines and manage delivery pressures while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Methodical, organized approach to troubleshooting model issues and resolving geometric conflicts independently.
  • Official Autodesk Revit Certification is considered a strong asset for this role.
