Bilingual Learning & Talent Specialist
As a Bilingual Talent Specialist at Wolseley Canada, you’ll sit at the intersection of people, technology, and development. Based out of our Burlington Head Office, this role plays a key part in delivering seamless talent and learning experiences through Workday. From supporting performance and onboarding programs to optimizing learning systems and partnering with the business on talent initiatives, you’ll help shape how our people grow, perform, and succeed, while acting as a brand ambassador, showcasing Wolseley’s culture, values, and employer brand in every associate and candidate interaction.

What you will do
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Workday Learning Tennent (LMS), including user management, course uploads, content curation, case management, learning assignments, and configuration/testing. Ensure the LMS is functioning optimally and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Workday Performance and Talent Tennent, including configuration/testing of annual performance reviews, calibrations, and checkpoints. Support with planning, education & change management, coordinating with key stakeholders, and reporting
- Accountable to design and deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for associates and leaders, serving as a central liaison to support, guide, and engage new hires and leaders throughout their onboarding journey
- Maintain our role-based onboarding program, including training matrix, guides, and conducting regular audits
- Build and schedule custom reports in Workday. Generate and analyze reports on system activity and use data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Maintain the learning portal to ensure that all development resources are up to date and available to associates
- Accountable for driving the development and long-term success of French-language talent pipeline programs.
- Act as a talent partner to various business groups to lead and coordinate talent projects, including the development and implementation of new programs. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of talent operations and make recommendations for improvements. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess learning needs, develop recommendations, and create tailored learning solutions. Support the design and development of content, ensuring it meets the needs of the target audience and aligns with organizational goals
What you will bring
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and/or Adult Education certification
- Experience with Workday (Learning, Performance, and Recruitment) preferred
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools considered an asset
- Proven experience designing or supporting onboarding, performance, or development programs.
- Act as a brand ambassador by understanding our business and showcasing our culture when interacting with candidates.
- Comfortable facilitating sessions and presenting to groups.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong active listening and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Excel skills with ability to manipulate data and create visualizations

Base Salary Range: $70-80,000 (total compensation range $70,000-84,000)
