We’re Looking For:

Our Bilingual Senior Marketing Specialist plays a critical role on the marketing team responsible for product launch and promotional programs for OPENLANE's digital e-commerce platforms and vehicle logistic centers (automotive auctions) throughout North America. This senior-level specialist will lead the creation and execution of multi-channel campaigns supporting dealer promotions, product initiatives, and business growth. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, creative execution, and data-driven decision-making, along with strong collaboration across cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Salesops.

  • Analytical. You possess strong critical thinking skills to evaluate key performance metrics, identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvement.

You Will:

  • Strategize with sales, operations, and product teams to develop and execute marketing promotions and product campaigns

  • Create and manage sale event promotions, presentations, and digital and physical marketing assets

  • Provide creative direction and coordination for advertisements, email campaigns, signage, and branded materials

  • Research competitive marketing trends and apply insights to improve OPENLANE’s positioning

  • Collaborate with auction locations and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are implemented correctly

  • Present marketing updates and plans to management and key teams

  • Ensure brand and corporate identity are consistently applied across materials and channels

  • Support additional marketing initiatives including strategic planning, project management, and events

  • Interact regularly with customers, buyers, and sellers, to better understand their needs and advocate development of integrated business strategies that build stronger customer loyalty.

  • Practice and always promote teamwork.  Provide back-up to other team members as needed.  Set a good example of attitude and performance. Communicate regularly about current marketing initiatives and initiate information-sharing to benefit all company 

Who You Will Work With:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will collaborate with the Sales, Product, and Operations teams on a regular basis.

Must Have’s:

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing, within B2B or automotive environments. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience

  • Bilingual in English and French

    • This role may involve interacting with customers, leaders, and colleagues in Quebec, other provinces, or internationally, some of whom may not speak English.

  • Experience in campaign planning, performance tracking, and marketing communication

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Project planning and multi-tasking ability

  • Experience supporting product launches or B2B sales teams

Nice to Have’s:

  • Experience with Salesforce or Asana project management

  • Experience in the automotive or logistics industry

  • Ability to travel occasionally for marketing support and events
