This position is based out of Dentalcorp's Toronto Support Centre located at 181 Bay St. Mondays to Thursdays and Fridays are work from home. Reporting to the Director, Legal, you will play a vital role in supporting the legal team and the company’s strategic growth and operational excellence initiatives.

You will be responsible for the company’s contracts with its associate dentists and expected to master the use of Ironclad, the company’s Contract Lifecycle Management System (“CLM”).

We are seeking a results-driven professional who is passionate about managing contracts and understands the value of making data-supported decisions in large organizations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow their career while leading impactful initiatives and collaborating across teams to achieve organizational goals.

In this role, you will
 

  • Be responsible for the company’s contracts, including specifically its contracts with associate dentists.
  • Utilize the CLM system to draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
  • Enter contracts into the CLM.
  • Ensure that the CLM’s data is accurate.
  • Support other departments in the management of their contracts.
  • Draft termination and acceptance of resignation letters for the company’s dentists.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide training on the effective use of the CLM.  
  • Utilize the CLM to identify data that will help the company make key decisions.
  • Participate in the Legal team’s pro-bono program.
  • Any other tasks that may be related to the above or assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for

  • 1- 2 years of experience in a legal or legal adjacent role.
  • Candidates with experience using Ironclad or another CLM, an Ontario paralegal (P1) license, or significant experience in legal operations will be prioritized.
  • Must be fluently bilingual in French and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and time management skills.
  • Early adopter of legal technology who understands the benefits of using artificial intelligence.
  • A team player who is comfortable and effective in an environment where there are varied stakeholders asking for support.
  • Passion for client service.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with excellent judgment.
