Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

The Commercial Analyst in Wholesale Finance assesses dealership credit risk, structures and manages credit facilities, oversees floorplan credit lines, and supports daily wholesale finance operations to ensure effective credit risk management and sustainable business growth.

A Day in the Life:   

  • Serve as a key point of contact for Dealers, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors, supporting credit requests, documentation collection, dealer stock audits and floorplan maintenance.

  • Support the Credit Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, and Wholesale Finance Manager while maintaining and updating desk procedures.

  • Prepare monthly reporting packages for global reporting, dealer reporting, accounting, and wholesale risk monitoring.

  • Assess dealership financial performance, identify lending opportunities and risks, prepare Credit Requests and Annual Reviews, and present recommendations to the Credit Committee.

  • Communicate Credit Committee decisions, coordinating execution of security documentation with Dealers and Legal.

  • Manage and analyze tracking reports, credit and Operations KPIs, to ensure proper credit line utilization and proactive risk mitigation.

  • Liaise with Dealers, NMAC, Legal, and third-party vendors to support seamless wholesale operations and system enhancements.

  • Perform full-scale wholesale administration functions, including credit line setup, loan processing, dealer onboarding, and responding to WFS/SHAW inquiries and enhancements.

  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken is required.

Who We’re Looking for:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years in finance/credit experience, Commercial Credit experience preferred. Automotive industry is an asset.

  • Proven analytical skills, problem-solving and research skills.

  • Ability to assess balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, Business & Credit Risk assessment skills to mitigate multimillion-dollar loss exposure.

  • Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across stakeholder groups, dealers and third-party vendors, to influence change, and deliver results.

  • Curious mindset with ability to learn new concepts quickly, identify challenges, and clearly articulate issues to others.

  • Experience working with large datasets in Excel/Tableau/Power BI/SQL (Including formulas, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.).

Salary Range:

$67,497.00 - $83,412.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
