Xello is looking for a BDR Team Lead

Who are you?

You are a highly driven individual committed to developing your team in their pursuit to build sales pipeline through cold calls, emails, social selling, and warm inbound leads. Naturally curious, you have a bias for action and are always looking for ways to optimize processes and enhance your team’s performance. You can handle multiple priorities at once and when issues arise, you are ready with ideas and prepared to execute solutions.

You’ve had hands-on experience as a BDR yourself, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to lead by example and show your team how it’s done. As a leader, you enjoy understanding what motivates your team members, and can easily adjust your approach to align with their individual needs. You have a keen interest in coaching and nurturing a team that contributes to net new revenue within the organization.

You are eager to join a growing SaaS company with ambitious growth goals, and the potential to advance your sales career.

Sound exciting to you? Read on!
What you’ll do…

  • Support day-to-day productivity of BDRs and motivate the team to succeed through mentorship and coaching
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and territory leadership to create an agile campaign deployment model that allows for increased coverage of prospecting efforts
  • Help BDRs develop effective cold-call messages and resources to qualify prospects and set up meetings for Educational Sales Consultants (ESCs)
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with each BDR and provide real-time feedback when shadowing calls
  • Establish and track team KPIs with metrics reporting in Salesforce (call volume, lead follow-up times, meetings booked, pipeline sourced)
  • Identify scalable best practices for optimizing outbound lead generation and replicate across the team
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new BDRs
  • Take an active and leading role in weekly, monthly, and annual sales meetings
  • Attend company functions as appropriate

What we’re looking for…

  • 5+ years of inside sales experience, ideally in an enterprise SaaS environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing and coaching a BDR team
  • A team player who is open to growth and professional/personal development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with a strong record of success
  • A great attitude and persistent approach to work
