Overview

Our client in Canada is looking for an energetic and experienced B2B Sales Representative to join their company to build and develop its sales force. This is a ground floor sales position, meaning there is tremendous growth opportunity moving forward with immediate income opportunity and long-term growth.

Job Summary

This role will have you working in a fast-paced challenging position that will advance your skillset all the time, this will challenge you to think outside the box regularly.  You will be part of the entire sales process from making the first call to assisting with information to close the deal. 

The right candidate is responsible for prospecting potential new clients - high call volume on front end while you are trying to build a pipeline.  This includes calling, emailing, social media outreach, working with the CEO on appointments and eventually engaging in trade shows.  There is growth with this role.

Compensation:

Base Salary of $48 plus commission OTE $52-55k first year

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and organizes their day to be most productive including cold calling, emailing, social media
  • Relationship building with prospects through different prospecting methods/lead generation
  • Aggressively identify qualified opportunities
  •  Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential
  •  Generate business and meet quota with prospecting activity and sales goals
  •  Maintain records of key business intelligence with key influencers and decision makers
  • Build ideal 250 list
  • Local networking events – Chamber of Commerce, BNI/Networking groups

Requirements:

  • Hunter
  • Must have ability to cold call, prospect and convert calls to actual sales activities
  • Must be driven to build a book of business and leverage all methods of generating leads (networking, speaking associations, etc.)
  • Adept in developing and maintaining business relationships with all leadership positions
  • Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Internet required
  • Familiar with IT services/Professional Services a plus

Qualifications:

· Education: Minimum associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent job experience)

· 2-4 years of successful business to business sales experience

· Proven ability to reach, access and secure meetings with appropriate decision makers
