Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and maintenance of our cloud resources, primarily on Azure. This includes virtual machines, storage, networking, and security groups, and other Azure services and technologies
- You will be involved in the deployment, scaling, and maintenance of our applications on the cloud. This includes working with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient releases.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Use tools like Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources in a repeatable and scalable manner.
- Develop and Maintain Automation. Create and maintain scripts and automation tools (Python, Bash, and PowerShell) to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address critical alerts and incidents. You'll be responsible for the initial triage, investigation, and resolution of issues to minimize downtime and business impact.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud services, performance, and security.
- Ensure Security and Compliance. Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate and Document infrastructure designs, configurations, operational procedures, runbook and other required activities. Work closely with development, quality assurance, and other teams. Maintain clear and concise documentation of our cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, SRE, Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role.
- Cloud Platform Expertise: 5+ years proven experience with Azure.
- IaC Tools: 3+ years hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Scripting: 5+ years proven coding experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Python most preferred.
- Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
- Networking: Solid understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Desired Skills
- Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure monitoring.
- Certifications: Cloud-specific certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.

Compensation
The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
