The Automotive Systems Developer will be responsible for system-level design activities for cabin monitoring, digital vision, connectivity, and various other technologies. This includes system requirements and system architecture, but also oversight of the system test activities

What you will do

  • Develop system requirements and interface requirements.
  • Maintain traceability of system requirements to customer requirements.
  • Ensure traceability of system requirements to detailed requirements.
  • Develop system architecture.
  • Perform/support System FMEA.
  • Follow established system engineering processes.
  • Ensure system development and validation are according to ASIL ISO26262 and ASPICE

What you will need to get the job done

  • 5 - 10 years of work experience with system engineering and SW development in Automotive industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • Familiarity with requirement lifecycle management tools such as DOORS, Jama, CodeBeamer, etc.
  • Practical experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools.
  • Understanding of internal vehicle communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, etc.)
  • Experience driving systems FMEA or FMEDA activities.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and test teams.
  • Familiarity with ASPICE and Agile processes.
  • Good understanding of ISO26262 ASIL levels at system level and ability to proper categorize and handle the requirements based on the level.

  • Hold ISO26262 functional safety certificate.
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive).
