Responsibilities
- Create test plans, test cases and traceability matrices based on complex business requirements documents and system design documents.
- Actively Contribute to and maintain team’s automation tool set.
- Actively Contribute and shape the Cloud Testing Capability
- Responsible for organizing and delivering End-To-End testing within a Project
- Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution and test automation
- Create and / or maintain automated test data sets as well as validate test environments.
- Conduct data quality assessment & design solutions to detect and improve test data quality
- Organize and prioritize team's needs within given automation toolset to ensure execution is as effective as possible.
- Take an active role in all testing phases, receiving direction from the QA Manager and offering advice to the QA Manager when needed.
- Contribute to and maintain team’s internal knowledge base and mentor other QA resources
- Work with JIRA for automation deliverables, test case management, defect management, test reporting, and other functions.
- Participate in defect triage.
- Report testing progress and defect metrics to the QA Manager.
- Review and provide feedback on high-level automation requirements, business requirements, and testing documents.
Show Us What You’ve Got
- 8+ years of prior experience as a Test/QA Analyst in Automation with working experience on Cloud Testing preferably Azure.
- Experience in Investment Banking Domain is preferred.
- Tertiary education
- Strong working experience on JAVA, JavaScript, Python, Maven/ANT, Behavior Driven Development
- Experience in developing/maintaining Continuous Integration test pipelines (Jenkins and Git Hub Actions)
- Strong Working experience in testing Applications on cloud preferably Azure
- Experience in writing SQL (data retrieval/update/inserts) on DB2 / Oracle / MS SQL Server/No SQL(MongoDB)
- Experience in developing Automated tests using Tricentis TOSCA
- Experience in REST API / Middleware testing primarily using native/third party Java libraries
- Basic experience working on server platforms physical or cloud (Windows Server/Linux)
- Knowledge of using source code control systems GITHUB / Bitbucket
- Knowledge in working with Atlassian JIRA (X-Ray or equivalent for Test Case Management)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge in QA methodologies and best practices
