The Professional Services Consulting area is responsible for providing fee-for-service consulting services to clients by providing a complete project solution to achieve measurable business improvement using company products and services, defining opportunity/process around outsourced solutions, systems integration or other proprietary tools related to the Atlassian ecosystem and other partner practice.


What you’ll be doing 💪


- Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions including architectural system design

- Facilitate customer discussions to discover key business and technical requirements, and develop implementation plans based on the identified requirements

- Provide experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to customers based on established best practices

- Support the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for customers

- Handle customer engagements as a project manager, responsible for scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the customer relationship

- Advise on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical team

- Promote yourself as a subject matter expert and valued member of the community

- Assist with proposal development and statement of work definitions

- Engage with potential customers on sales calls as a technical resource, advising on product solutions


What you’ll bring to the table 🧑‍💻


- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related technical disciplines

- Strong experience as a technical consultant or systems administrator in Atlassian tools, combined with a solid background in service design and delivery with some business analysis experience

- A successful history in customer engagement and demonstrated exceptional consulting and influencing skills (including at C-level)

- Proven track record in implementing solutions including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to take a holistic view across a range of domains

- Demonstrated expertise in undertaking analysis, evaluation and translation of customer requirements and feeding into solutions

- Excellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation, written and verbal communication

- Experience with Agile development methodologies

- Strong knowledge of software products both in terms of application-side and administration of the various platforms

- Proficiency in technical skills such as: command line (preferably Unix), SQL, script development, software configuration and other related technical skills

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc.)

- Software development skills, to handle the end to end development of a small software project (i.e. an integration component)

- An understanding of web application architecture

- Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles

- Experienced in UAT testing and test use-case development

- Understanding and experience with integration scenarios with tools like CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and others

- Knowledge of cloud technologies
