En tant qu’ingénieur principal en implantation bilingue (français/anglais), vous êtes le visage technique de l’entreprise durant la phase d’implantation. Vous accompagnerez les organisations dans leur transition, de l’achat à la mise en service opérationnelle, en veillant à ce que leur système soit conçu pour la résilience et une haute disponibilité.

 

Principales responsabilités

Implantation SaaS et sur site (On-Premise) : Diriger la configuration technique des instances infonuagiques AtHoc et effectuer des installations de bout en bout sur l’infrastructure fournie par le client.

Gestion des « trois piliers » : Maintenir une expertise de niveau avancé en configuration et en résolution de problèmes pour Windows Server, IIS et SQL Server.

Automatisation et scripts : Développer et maintenir des scripts PowerShell afin d’automatiser les importations de données, les tâches de déploiement et les vérifications de l’état des systèmes.

Intégration technique : Configurer les synchronisations Microsoft Entra ID (anciennement Azure AD)/LDAP et les authentifications SAML 2.0/SSO; utiliser des API REST et des charges utiles JSON pour assurer l’interopérabilité des systèmes.

Validation des données : Utiliser des requêtes SQL pour appuyer la cartographie des données et vérifier leur intégrité durant les phases de migration et d’implantation.

Prestation-conseil : Agir à titre de conseiller technique auprès des responsables TI des clients, en fournissant des pratiques exemplaires en matière de durcissement de la sécurité des systèmes et de maintenance.

 

Qualifications et compétences

Bilinguisme complet (français/anglais) avec d’excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite dans les deux langues.

Expérience : 4 à 7 ans dans un rôle technique (administration de systèmes, implantation ou génie sur le terrain).

Compétences comportementales (exigées)

 

Approche consultative : Capacité à comprendre les besoins des clients et à les traduire en exigences techniques.

Résolution de conflits : Capacité à garder son calme sous pression, notamment lors du dépannage de systèmes critiques dans des environnements à enjeux élevés.

Communication efficace : Capacité à expliquer des concepts techniques complexes à des intervenants non techniques.

Sens des responsabilités : Personne autonome qui assume la responsabilité du succès technique du client, de la phase de démarrage jusqu’au transfert au soutien technique.

 

Environnement technologique (exigé)

Windows Server : Administration avancée (registre, services, GMSA et politiques de sécurité).

IIS : Expérience dans la gestion des sites Web, des pools d’applications et des liaisons de certificats SSL/TLS.

SQL Server : Connaissance des bases de données relationnelles et capacité à exécuter des requêtes de base pour la validation des données ou les modifications de tables, ainsi que la sauvegarde et la restauration des bases de données. Une connaissance des groupes de disponibilité est un atout.

 

Scripts et intégration (exigé)

 Maîtrise de PowerShell pour l’automatisation et l’interaction avec des API

Connaissance de JSON, des API REST et de la gestion des identités (SSO/Entra ID)

 

 Déplacements

Capacité à voyager jusqu’à 40 % du temps, selon les besoins, pour des exigences sur site dans des installations sécurisées ou à des emplacements internationaux.

 About the Role

BlackBerry AtHoc is the global leader in networked crisis communication. As a Bilingual (French/English) Senior Implementation Engineer, you are the technical face of the company during the implementation phase. You will guide organizations through the transition from purchase to operational readiness, ensuring their system is architected for resilience and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • SaaS & On-Premise Implementation: Lead the technical configuration of AtHoc cloud instances and perform end-to-end installations on customer-provided infrastructure.
  • The "Core Three" Management: Maintain expert-level configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate data imports, deployment tasks, and system health checks.
  • Technical Integration: Configure Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)/LDAP synchronizations and SAML 2.0/SSO authentications; utilize REST APIs and JSON payloads for system interoperability.
  • Data Validation: Utilize SQL queries to assist with data mapping and to verify data integrity during the migration and implementation phases.
  • Consultative Delivery: Act as a technical advisor to client IT leads, providing best practices for system security hardening and maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills

Fully bilingual (French/English) : with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Experience: 4–7 years in a technical role (Systems Administration, Implementation, or Field Engineering).

Consultative Mindset: Ability to listen to customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Conflict Resolution: Calm under pressure, especially when troubleshooting critical systems in high-stakes environments.
Effective Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ownership: A self-starter who takes responsibility for the customer's technical success from kickoff to Support hand-off.

Infrastructure Stack (Required):
Windows Server: Advanced administration (registry, services, GMSA, and security policies).
IIS: Experience managing web sites, application pools, and SSL/TLS certificate bindings.
SQL Server: Familiarity with relational databases and the ability to execute basic queries for data verification or table changes, backup and restoration of databases.  Familiarization with Availability Groups preferred.

Scripting & Integration (Required):
Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and API interaction.
Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and Identity Management (SSO/Entra ID).
Travel: Ability to travel up to 40% as needed for on-site requirements at secure facilities or international locations.
Preferred/Optional:
Hands-on experience with Python.

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range:

$96,000.00 - $135,000.00

The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.

 

Bonus:
