Own the roadmap and product decisions for internal platform APIs and multi-tenant SaaS tooling. Partner with engineering on architecture, authentication, billing infrastructure, and tenant-isolation tradeoffs. Conduct discovery with delivery teams and clients, write precise specifications, prioritize platform improvements, and monitor adoption and friction after launch.
Job Description
Own the roadmap for Swift Tech Co.'s internal platform APIs and multi-tenant SaaS tooling used across every client delivery team, the shared infrastructure (auth, billing, tenant isolation) that lets us ship SaaS and custom software projects faster instead of rebuilding the same plumbing per client.
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize the internal platform team roadmap against real delivery-team pain points
- Own product decisions around multi-tenant architecture tradeoffs (database-per-tenant vs. shared-schema with row-level security)
- Work directly with engineering leads on technical tradeoffs, not just feature scope
- Drive integration of billing infrastructure (Stripe Billing or equivalent) into the shared platform
- Run discovery with internal delivery teams and, where relevant, client stakeholders
- Write specs precise enough that engineering doesn't have to guess intent
- Track adoption and friction of internal platform tools after they ship, not just at launch
