Job Summary:

Semtech is looking for a curious and energetic Associate Product Engineer who has a desire to learn about and who will contribute to research & design projects as well as supporting the transfer of products to our offshore production facilities. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of  ATE and lab data for Semtech’s high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits

  • Use best engineering practices to optimize test coverage, test limits and guard banding 

  • Utilize state-of-the-art lab equipment to assist in determining the performance of networking ICs with ultimate precision and accuracy.

  • Collect data to analyze device performance to specification and to ensure manufacturability targets are met prior to production release

  • Learn the new product introduction (NPI) processes and procedures and assist engineers with maintaining documentation compliance

  • Assist team in identifying process improvements

  • Generate comprehensive reports and presentations with creative and clear analysis methods that highlight the relationships between process, voltage, and temperature and device performance

  • Work closely with a variety of groups to improve product yield, quality and compliance to specifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be organized and be able to adjust to frequent priority changes

  • Must have initiative to take on assigned tasks and complete them with minimal supervision

  • Safety conscious with clean and orderly work habits

  • Methodical, and detail oriented

  • Team player and can easily work with different personalities and skill levels
