Job Description
THE POSITION:
This position focuses on supporting a wide range of strategy, research, analytics, and/pr value communication projects, in addition to management of project activities, and other team members and clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
- Liaise with project stakeholders as required
- Conduct structured or systematic searches of medical literature
- Critically review, interpret, and synthesize medical literature
- Develop drafts of publications (e.g., manuscripts, abstracts, posters)
- Develop draft reports (e.g., technical) and slide decks
- Liaise with key opinion leaders (e.g., clinicians, health economists)
- Review, edit, and format draft documents
- Perform quality assurance on model equations, written materials, etc.
- Develop drafts of product dossiers, value messages, marketing and sales material, clinical summaries, and objection handlers
- Develop cost-effectiveness and budget impact models
- Parametrize and run models; review and interpret results
- Support preparation of slides for project-related meetings/calls
- May support setting project scope, timelines, and/or strategy
- Support development/communication of SOPs and training materials
- Participate in team-based and independent training
- Provide guidance and training to other staff
- Support development of proposals and training materials
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably in a medical-related field such as Biology, Epidemiology, Pharmacology, Health Economics, Medical Science, or related field
- Direct work experience in health research, health economics, or a related field
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to learn quickly
- Ability to communicate effectively (spoken and written), in non-technical terms, with project team members and clients
- Work well with a team as well as independently and be able to take a leadership role with regard to methodological elements in projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with peers, senior management, and clients
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks; and ability to adapt to shifting internal and client-related priorities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MSc or PhD preferred
- Familiarly with techniques such as development of meta-analysis, indirect comparisons, network meta-analysis, predictive equations, survival analysis (including parametric methods), longitudinal data analysis, and other hierarchical analysis techniques, etc.
- Practical experience in the application of statistics in health technology appraisals, health economics, outcomes research or clinical data analysis is preferred but can be learned on the job
- Proficiency in programming in languages such as Visual Basic for Applications, Python, Objective-C, Java, JavaScript, PHP would be a great asset.
- Proficiency with computer programming software (e.g., VBA) or other role-related software (e.g. EndNote) is an asset
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
EXPECTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Travel: Some travel may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management
- Hours Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the Canada. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
