What You’ll Do
As an Associate Manager on our Digital Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing strategies across various digital channels for Canadian Tire’s digital marketing programs. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, monitor, and execute performance-driven campaigns that drive profitability and enhance the digital consumer journey. You will drive digital performance in support of company growth objectives through Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Video, Affiliates, etc.
Overall, this role requires strong analytical capability, strategic thinking, creativity, a high degree of agility, a collaborative nature, a strong data and analytics skill set and a passion for digital marketing.

Lead day-to-day operations of performance digital programs, specifically Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Video, and Affiliate channels.

Own monthly budget management, including reconciliation of digital ad spend, budget forecasting and channel performance forecasting.

Assist in the development of annual marketing plans by developing financial plans and annual strategies for the business that link to defined strategy objectives. Establish clear campaign targets aligned to deliver business goals.

Foster strong relationships and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure thorough understanding of business goals, opportunities, challenges and develop marketing plans that balance customer needs with business goals. Establish clear campaign targets aligned to deliver business goals.

Monitor program performance, analyze data, and derive actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness across all digital programs. Look for ongoing efficiencies, specifically traffic and revenue generating opportunities.

You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams such as strategic marketing, content, promo, CTDI and external key partners such as Google, Meta, etc.

Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization within existing campaigns to drive continuous improvement.

Work closely with vendor partners and internal stakeholders to develop online to offline measurement attribution campaigns (Financial Planning & Analysis, Experimentation, Measurement).

Investigate and identify new or unleveraged digital marketing opportunities.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the digital marketing landscape.
What You Bring
Working amongst a high-performing and cross-functional team, we expect you to have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment. Atleast 3+ years’ experience in a digital marketing environment including campaign and channel strategy, execution and analytics.

Proven experience in digital marketing, including hands-on experience with Paid Search, Paid Social, Display & Video Advertising and Affiliate Marketing.

Experience using Bid Management, Ad Management and Analytics Tools: (Google Ads, DV360, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Thoughtspot, etc).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights- strong excel skillset is a must.

Budget and forecasting management experience.

Post-secondary education or related experience in Marketing , Business or related educational background.

Agency background or in-house experience in digital marketing or eCommerce environment is an asset.
